Just a little more than year and a half after releasing their debut album "Powerlords" italian Elletra Storm are back with brand new album. On October 24, 2025 we received "Evertale". It is promoted by "" (66. last week at Stef Metal Chart). Read review to get know if the album continues the previous album.
Fast, full of energy and interesting vocal lines "Endgame" flows from the speakers right at the start. And to be honest at that moment I thought that it would be finally 9 or 10 points note album. The second track "The Secrets Of The Universe" is also fast, making the listener feel as if it is continuation of the opener, however it has a little different shape. Vocal line is not so melodic here and guitars often plays open chords. So the music quality flows down, but there still is a lot to listen to.
Tracks 3 and 4 are known from promo videos - "" and "Blue Phoenix". That are another two from most interesting compositions recorded on the album. "Hero Among Heroes" is a little slower and sounds a little heavier than tracks before. Also the vocal line is more fit to music again. "Blue Phoenix" is quite fast with slower chorus, having some shredded parts.
Further part of the album starts with "Ride The Rainbow" - ballad that, in my opinion, is weakest song on the tracklist. However for the end is left the best track in this part - "If The Stars Could Cry" is quite ballad-like song but heavier than song mentioned before.
The album as a whole makes a good impression that is kind of continuation of the previous album. There's quite much of good power metal music so I honestly recommend it.
